Goldleaf Surety would like to introduce our 2017 scholarship winners – Noah Stoeckman and Wyatt Risa. Noah is a 2017 graduate of Montevideo High School and will began his college career this fall at the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire. Wyatt is a 2017 graduate of Lakeview High School in Cottonwood and will begin his college career this fall at Minnesota West Community & Technical College in Canby, Minnesota.
Since 2010, Goldleaf Surety has been presenting $500 scholarships to local area high school seniors who generally will be pursuing a degree in a business related field. Goldleaf has been pleased to present these scholarships to local high school students to assist them in pursuing their college educations.
At this year’s Montevideo Scholarship Tea 130 scholarships totaling $156,200 were awarded to 72 graduating seniors.
Lakeview Dollars for Scholars chapter helps local students achieve their educational goals by raising scholarship funds, establishing endowments, providing assistance with college readiness and the financial aid process, and distributing scholarships each year. The first scholarships were awarded in 2004. To date, 228 students have received a total of $129,450 in scholarships through Lakeview Dollars for Scholars.
