December was a cold, wintery month in Minnesota! So we here at Goldleaf Surety tried to keep warm, at least on the inside, by spreading some Christmas cheer!
On December 7th, Goldleaf Surety together with Trinity Lutheran Church hosted a benefit for Brad & Noelle Koosmann and their family at Calvary Baptist Church. The evening began with a meal and silent auction. Family and friends shared time together to provide fun and fellowship to the Koosmann family. After the meal and silent auction, the benefit finished with a worship service filled with Christmas songs, words of hope, and prayer. The evening provided not only monetary support for Noelle’s medical bills but also an opportunity to offer words of hope and encouragement to Noelle and her family.
Also during the month of December, we were again blessed to be able to assist two local families in need. Each year the Goldleaf family “adopts” two families in our community. With donations from the staff, we are able to provide them with both needs as well as wants from their Christmas wish list. In addition, Goldleaf Surety provides them with all the fixings for a traditional Christmas dinner. Goldleaf Account Specialists Brenda Risa and Rita Jorgenson spearhead this annual Christmas giving project.
On December 17th, our staff took the afternoon to celebrate. With food and a little healthy competition at the local bowling alley, we spent an enjoyable afternoon. Although none of us will be quitting our full time job here at Goldleaf Surety to join the Professional Bowlers Association, we had a fun afternoon enjoying some time out of the office together.
We hope your holiday season was joyous, and we look forward to another year of working with all of you on your bond needs!
