On Saturday, July 27th, Goldleaf’s Small Bond Specialist Kristina Schafer participated in the Phillsbury Push 5K Run in Kerkhoven, Minnesota. This race is an annual fund raising event with proceeds from the race going to the Phillsbury Swimming Pool and the Benson/KMS Cross Country team.
Kristina said her reason for participating in the 5K run was two-fold. She and her husband enjoy taking their 3 young children to the Phillsbury Pool in Kerkhoven so she was glad to help raise money for the pool. In addition, she is an avid runner and was excited to be able to participate in a run so close to home. Kristina finished the 3.6 mile race in 32.45 minutes!
