Goldleaf Surety would like to introduce our 2016 scholarship winners – Macy Peters and Jack Sachariason. Macy will began her college career this fall in Fargo, ND. Jack plans on attending South Dakota State University in Brookings this fall.
Since 2010, Goldleaf has been presenting $500 scholarships to Montevideo High School graduates who will be pursuing a degree in a business related field. Goldleaf has been honored to present these scholarships to local high school students to assist them in pursuing their college educations.
The Montevideo Scholarship Tea has its origins back in 1959 when four $100 scholarships were awarded to Montevideo high school students. At this year’s tea, $135,775 was awarded to 61 Montevideo High School seniors. The total given to Montevideo high school students since its inception back in 1959 exceeds $2,500,000.
Goldleaf is proud to be a part of this program assisting area students in their pursuit of higher education!
