Surety Bonds Don’t Need to be a Juggling Act

June 19, 2020by Lori Olson

Surety Bonds Don't Need to be a Juggling ActSaturday, June 20, is World Juggling Day.  According to the website holidayinsights.com, this day celebrates the skill of juggling and those talented people who can juggle many balls and objects at a time.

To help you celebrate World Juggling Day, here are a few fun and interesting facts about juggling we found on the Huffington Post website.

  • Scarves are the easiest item to begin with when learning to juggle. (This I know because both of my children in their younger years tried their hand at juggling.  Watching the VHS tape using scarves and “crisscross applesauce” repeatedly still haunts my dreams.)
  • Considered the greatest juggler of all time, Enrico Rastelli (1896 – 1931) was able to juggle ten balls at once.
  • Ancient Chinese warriors would show off to their enemies by juggling before battle.
  • Juggling burns 280 calories an hour.  (Seems like a lot of work for very little caloric burn!)

Many days at the office, we wish we had something as easy to juggle as scarves.  Or, like Mr. Rastelli, that we were easily able to juggle 10 things at once.  Unfortunately, we know that is never the case.  We often have much more on our “to do list” then can easily be done in a day.

Goldleaf Surety wants you to know that surety bonds do not need to be a juggling act for you.  This is one item we can and will take off your long list of things to do in a day.  Surety revenues represent less than 1.2% of the total revenue opportunities available in the P&C marketplace.  When agents are spending a lot of time on any surety file, your agency’s productivity on its most profitable line (P&C insurance) drops…your overhead associated with marketing surety increases…and the risk of disappointing your customers begins.

Rather than adding one more ball to the many you and your agency already need to juggle, outsourcing your surety business to Goldleaf Surety is a better business proposition than trying to manage surety applications yourself.  We specialize in surety only, and we support many agencies that need help placing surety business for their policyholders.

Leave the entertainment juggling to the professionals on World Juggling Day.  And, leave the surety bond submissions to the bond professionals at Goldleaf Surety Services every day.
