New Minnesota Retainage Law as of August 1st

Several changes to Minnesota retainage laws were introduced during this past legislative session and have now been signed into law by Governor Walz. DMEPOS Bond for Dentists

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) now requires dentists who are providers of Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetic and Orthotic Suppliers (DMEPOS) to have a surety bond.  The bond is required of those who bill Medicare for equipment they sell.  The rule’s goal is to bring dental sleep medicine practitioners into compliance with the Medicare DMEPOS bond requirement pursuant to 43 CRF §424,57(c) to prevent fraudulent activity within the industry. DMEPOS Competitive Bidding Program Bond

The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced its bid window on Round 2021 for the supply of durable medical equipment (DMEPOS) under the Medicare program.  The bid window will run for 60 days and begins July 15, 2019.
