On Sunday, September 22nd Goldleaf Escrow Fund Control Administrator Jan Sachariason and her family participated in the Light The Night Walk at Target Field in Minneapolis. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Walk is an evening filled with fun and inspiration including a Remembrance Ceremony to reflect with those who have lost loved ones to cancer and a patients and survivors lap. Jan’s husband Rob is one of those survivors.
Other activities included face painting and games in the KidZone, photo opportunities with famous mascots and fun giveaways and games at various sponsor booths.
Monies raised by teams and individuals during the Light the Night Walk are used by the LLS for lifesaving treatments, cancer research, patient support services and advocacy for better treatments.
Each fall there are Light the Night Walks in nearly 200 communities across North America!
