Like most organizations, Goldleaf Surety has many hard working, valuable employees who work mainly “behind the scenes.” So, we would like to take this opportunity to introduce our Bond Production Manager Becky Risa. Becky is celebrating 17 years with Goldleaf Surety this month!
Without Becky, the bonds underwritten and approved here at Goldleaf Surety would never get out the door. She is the person here that is responsible for our bond production which includes preparation of the bond as well as supporting documents such at the General Indemnity Agreement. She also ensures the timely delivery of bonds to our customers. Without Becky’s attention to detail, her amazing organizational and multi-tasking ability, and her calm presence under pressure, all of us here at Goldleaf would not be able to perform our jobs as effectively as we do.
Becky graduated from high school in Windom, Minnesota. She then attended Waldorf Junior College (Forest City, Iowa). After one year she transferred to The Milwaukee School of Business (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) where she obtained her Legal Secretary Degree. Following that she transferred to Augustana College (Sioux Falls, South Dakota) and graduated with her degree in Social Work (major) and Special Education (minor).
Becky and her husband Dean have been married for 41 years. They have two children and two grandchildren. Dean has been a loan officer in various banks throughout his business career. In these later years he has enjoyed his own business selling home grown vegetables in a couple of the local Farmers Markets, and raising Holstein calves. In their spare time as a couple they enjoy spending time with family and friends and playing cards with good friends on the weekends.
Again, the management and staff at Goldleaf Surety would like to take this time to thank Becky for all her hard work and dedication over the past 17 years!
